Pennsylvania’s Twelfth Congressional District spans across various regions within the state, including South Central Pennsylvania, the Allegheny Highlands, and the Laurel Highlands. Its thriving combination of rural countryside and bustling urban centers makes it a melting pot of culture, history, and natural beauty.
The district is currently represented in Congress by Representative Fred Keller, who assumed office in 2019. Its 15 counties include Bradford, Clinton, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Perry, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wyoming Counties and parts of Centre and Potter Counties. As I step out on this exciting expedition through Pennsylvania’s Twelfth Congressional District, my aim is to go beyond the tourist hotspots and uncover the hidden gems that make each of these counties truly extraordinary.
From visiting quaint Amish communities in Juniata County to hiking through pristine wilderness areas in Clinton County – I’ll immerse myself in their local cultures and embrace everything they have to offer.
In each county, I’ll seek out authentic food experiences and take part in local traditions such as festivals or sporting events. But most importantly – I’ll engage with the people who call these places home because their stories are an invaluable part of what makes these counties treasured destinations waiting to be uncovered.

1. Bradford County: Marvel at the Wyalusing Rocks Overlook that has played host to centuries of human history or immerse yourself in “A River Runs Through It,” an exhibit that retraces Bradford County’s lumbering era at the Bradford County Historical Society.
2. Lycoming County: Traverse Pine Creek Gorge (also known as Pennsylvania Grand Canyon) by foot or bike – make sure you pause for spectacular views from Leonard Harrison State Park or Colton Point State Park.
3. Mifflin County: Lose yourself among enchanting labyrinths at Wilson’s Serenity Point Greenhouse & Gardens or explore Revolutionary War History at Fort Granville ruins.
