Dushore, PA., April 13 — During a meeting with voters, Marc Friedenberg, candidate for Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District, said that for too long rural communities in the district have been ignored and he pledged to work diligently on their behalf if elected.
“Our government doesn’t seem to be interested in investing in our country anymore,” said Friedenberg., He continued, “We have reckless spending with no mindfulness to smaller communities, and then you find yourself stranded on top of a mountain one day because they decide you’re not rich enough for them to fix your roads.”
The meet and greet took place at Pam’s Restaurant in Dushore. During the event, Marc led a discussion on how he would create jobs, establish an infrastructure bank to invest in building new roads and bridges, improving the education system, and bringing broadband to rural communities.
The Special Election for the 12th Congressional District will take place May 21, 2019. You may find Marc’s platform and upcoming events at https://marcforpa.com/.
