Candidates talk about biggest national issue, state’s minimum wage
Mike Reuther, Williamsport Sun-Gazette
In the lead-up to the election, The Williamsport Sun-Gazette has been polling candidates at all levels about various issues and plans to publish their responses in the newspaper’s Sunday edition. U.S. Representative Tom Marino was asked which two issues he feels are most important to the nation at large; despite his role in perpetuating it in Pennsylvania, he answered that one of them was the opioid crisis. In contrast, Marc answered that healthcare access and healthcare affordability are crucial issues, as Americans pay more for and get less out of healthcare than other developed countries.
